Everest Alpine Trekking is offering a “Visit Nepal” tour package, which is a great way to experience the many wonderful aspects of Nepal. This tour has many activities that showcase what makes Nepal such a popular destination. It includes adventure activities as we travel through the country. In Bhaktapur, we see well-preserved palaces and temples, and in Bandipur or Pokhara, we experience traditional Nepali life and stunning mountain views. Arrival day in Kathmandu:

You will be welcomed by our representative at International airport and transfer to hotel, check-in and rest. Overnight at hotel (breakfast included).

Day 02 :

Kathmandu city tour:

Followed by buffet breakfast at hotel in Kathmandu, meeting with tour guide and proceed for Kathmandu city tour (Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhu and Budhanilkanth). Overnight at hotel (breakfast included).

Day 03 :

Kathmandu city tour & Buddha jayanti celebration:

After breakfast sightseeing tour to Pashupatinadh and later drive
to Boudhanath for Buddha Jayanti celebration. Overnight at hotel (breakfast included).

Day 04 :

Drive to Chitwan (175km) 5/6 hrs and Jungle activities:

Followed by breakfast about 5 hrs. scenic drive to Chitwan through Prithivi Highway.

Full day Jungle activities:

Drive to Pokhara (145km) 5-6 hrs drive:

Drive to Pokhara. Check in Hotel and trek preparation. Overnight at hotel, inclusive of breakfast.

Day 07 :

Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ulleri. (Guest House. B.L.D.):

After breakfast at your hotel in Pokhara, we will drive to Birethanti (Approx. 1 / 30 ,hour car drive) from where the trek starts! From there, the trail continues through the village. The trail .
follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola.
The trail continues climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1495m. After Lunch the short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga at 1525m and continue begin our journey with steep climb to Ulleri. Ulleri is a large Magar village at 2070m.

Day 08 :

Trek to Ghorepani (Overnight guesthouse B.L.D):

Then the trail continues to ascend more gently, through fine forests of oak & rhododendron towards Banthanti at 2250m. Then we make our trek towards Nangethanti at 2460m. After an hour gentle walk from Nangethanti, we will reach at Ghorepani at 2875m.

Day 09 :

Hiking to Poonhill - back to Ghorepani, and trek to Tadapani. (Overnight at guesthouse. B.L.D.):

Today, we will get up early in the morning, and go for hiking to Poon Hill. From here we will see superb view of sunrise and panoramic view of Himalayas, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna South, Mt. Annapurna I, Mt. Fishtail, and many more. After excursion to Poon Hill, we will go back to our hotel; take a hot breakfast and continue walking to Tadapani.

Day 10 :

Trek to Ghandruk and drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel (Breakfast included):

After our breakfast in Tadapani, We will hike towards Ghandruk (2,010m), a beautiful Gurung village located at the northwest.

Day 11 :

Pokhara to Kathmandu (200km). Overnight at hotel (breakfast included):

After breakfast about 6/7 hours scenic drive back to Kathmandu along Trishuli and Marshyangdi river.

What is Nepal's status in adventure activities?

Nepal is a haven for adventure lovers, with an array of thrilling experiences amidst captivating scenery. There is something for every type of adventurer in this country: trek through the famous Himalayas, experience white-water rafting, and revel in the tranquility of paragliding.

What about extra hotel nights?

We can arrange extra hotel nights for you in Kathmandu before or after the trek at an additional cost. Please let us know before you arrive in Nepal so we can make the arrangements as required.

Can I drink tap water in Nepal?

It is not recommended to consume tap water in Nepal. Restaurants will offer purified drinking water, but visitors are always advised to drink bottled water

What happens if I have symptoms of altitude sickness on the trek?

Having minor symptoms of altitude sickness, such as a headache, is quite common, and you can continue trekking. However, if you develop additional symptoms, it’s critical that you don’t continue trekking to a higher elevation. We can often arrange to have you walk down to a lower elevation and wait several days for the symptoms to resolve before continuing with the next group. Note that additional charges apply for extra days on the trek.

Should I tip my guide? How about my porter?

While not mandatory, tipping is customary and always appreciated in Nepal and on our treks. Tipping is a great way to show your appreciation for the team’s hard work and devoted attention to your happiness. We generally suggest a tip of roughly 10% of the cost of the trek divided between the guide and porter.

How much money should I bring along?

Our treks are all-inclusive and cover accommodation, food, park fees, permits, and many other costs, as a means of making your adventure as stress-free and convenient as possible. Travelers generally bring a small amount of pocket money to cover bottled water, snacks, or tea beyond your included meals, souvenirs, tips, or donations to monasteries along the route (if you are inclined to give one). Trekkers find that around $35 to $50 USD a day is reasonable for these extras, although if you’re on a tight budget, you can get by with less.

If I am sick, can I continue the trek the next day after a day of rest?

If you are sick and need to rest for a day, we can often place you in the next trekking group coming up the mountain. We would rather see trekkers take extra time on the trail than risk altitude sickness by pushing themselves too fast. Please talk to your guide about this, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Note that extra charges will apply for additional days on the trek. Please see the complete details in our “Terms of Service.”.

What happens if I get sick or injured while trekking?

We take all possible precautions to proactively ensure the safety and wellness of our trekkers, but rest assured that our guides are trained and experienced in dealing with emergencies. If necessary, your guide will utilize your travel insurance information to call a rescue helicopter, and you will be flown to Kathmandu for medical attention.

What about weight limits?

The main limitation on the weight is the luggage limit on the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, or pokhara, which is 10kg (22 lbs) and another 5kg (11 lbs) for a carry-on, for a total of 15 kg (33 lbs).
