Mountains above 7000 meters and below 8000 meters in Nepal are considered major high-altitude climbs — more challenging than typical trekking peaks but slightly less extreme than the giant “eight-thousanders.” Climbs in this height range require skilled acclimatization, technical ability, and often weeks of expedition work with base camps and higher camps, similar to higher mountain expeditions.
